What types of instance portals are there?
There are three different type of instance portals. The first and most common is blue and is a dungeon instance portal which require small groups to complete as a minimum. This is where you will fulfill the majority of your elite quests. The next type of instance portals are the green portals and are raid instance portals. These portals require a large number of players to defeat the content held inside. Lastly, there are red instance portals which lead to Battlegrounds.
